
Cindy McGowan (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals across various stages of life. With a career supporting children, adolescents, and adults, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the practice. Ms. McGowan specializes in helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, emotional regulation, social interactions, life transitions, and the development of coping and social skills.
Throughout her career, Ms. McGowan has worked with individuals at various life stages, from children and families to adults transitioning into new roles. She is highly skilled in creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, assisting new parents with parenting strategies, and guiding adults through significant life changes.
Ms. McGowan takes a person-centered approach to therapy, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to empower clients to identify and achieve their goals. Ms. McGowan is committed to helping clients build resilience and face life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
